Nicci’s Yoga journey began 20 years ago in the foothills of the Himalayas, India. Discovering a wonderful teacher, Nicci completed over 400 hours training of Traditional Hatha Ashtanga Tristhana Yoga. This is a method where the body, breath and consciousness are aligned as one throughout the class. Her training allowed her to go deep into her practice and brought with it much personal healing too. Nicci is trained in Pranayama, Meditation and Yoga Nidra and sees Yoga as a way of life that anyone can share in and benefit from. Nicci spent many years working in the Corporate world, travelling internationally, but it was yoga that always kept her grounded and allowed her to succeed and thrive.

 

Nicci chose to focus solely on Yoga teaching so that she can help others find better mental, physical and spiritual health. She additionally completed her 200 hour teacher training in Vinyasa Yoga at Jala Yoga Hampton Bays, and loves putting together beautiful flows that her students can enjoy and succeed in.

Nicci’s classes are an opportunity for students to go deeper into their practice, build strength, flexibility, and raise their consciousness. Her classes offer a calm, caring environment where every student can find their pose, and know that this is enough.

 

When Nicci is not on her yoga mat, she is caring for her 6 year old first grader, her wonderful husband, cat and new rescue pup, who keeps them all busy! She also has a keen interest in Ayurveda and mindful nutrition, and loves most being outside hiking, skiing and swimming.
